Keystone Heights, Florida is a city of about 1,500 people, located in southwest Clay County. Keystone Heights is located amongst several lakes and ponds including Lake Geneva, Santa Fe Lake, Lake Brooklyn, Lake Bedford, and Crystal Lake. Schools in the area include Keystone Heights Elementary and Keystone Heights Junior and Senior High School. The city was settled in the early 1900s and was incorporated in 1925.

There are a number of parks and outdoor spaces located throughout Keystone Heights. Keystone Heights Recreation Park, Leona F. Terry, Azalea Park, Keystone Heights Natural Park, and Speedville Park. The Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail begins nearby and runs for 47 miles in one of the prettiest parts of the state. Little Rain Lake Park offers tennis, basketball, football and baseball fields for kids and adults in the area. Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park sits on 600 acres and offers camping, hiking, and lakefront cabins.
