Homes For Sale In Earleton, Florida

Looking For Homes For Sale In Earleton, Florida?

Earleton, Florida is an unincorporated area in Alachua County. There are only a few hundred people living in Earleton, however, there are a number of communities nearby such as Melrose and Orange Heights. The community lies along the banks of Lake Santa Fe, which is a 5,580-acre spring-fed lake, wonderful for fishing, boating, and jet skiing. The area was once popular with tourism through the 1880s, but great freezes in the area and the implementation of the automobile ended the steamship runs that once carried tourists to the area.

Today Earleton is a quiet and peaceful community of close-knit neighbors. Local children in the area attend both Melrose Elementary School and Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High School.

Things To Do

Lake Santa Fe offers an abundance of recreational activities. It is one of the largest lakes in the area and has pristine water quality. People from all over the area come to Lake Santa Fe because of its beauty. With its rural feel and wide open spaces, Earleton has several farms and nurseries. The Southland Berry Plantation is a beautiful u-pick farm the kids will love.
